“We wanted to be in touch to express our huge appreciation for your contribution to making today’s funding announcement such a success. Thank you so much. We were grateful for the huge amount of preparation that had been done in order to come up with such a creative way of sharing this really good news. Being able to be in Doncaster, with people joining us from across the country – not least Alan Smith in Westminster – was particularly good, as was earthing what we wanted to share in such an excellent example of a church serving its community. We felt well briefed and well prepared and greatly enjoyed ourselves too! We don’t underestimate (and certainly don’t understand!) the technical challenges of all of this, but from our perspective, at least, things seemed to go really smoothly and easily. It is good to be surrounded by people capable of rising to this kind of challenge. You do such good work in communicating the values and hope we stand for in Jesus Christ, today was a great example of that. Thank you.”
