“Tom took the lead on all things tech/AV/production for the most recent triennial clergy conference for the Diocese of Guildford and he was absolutely integral to the success of the event. It would not have come together as well without his knowledge and expertise, his direction and creativity. With such vast experience, both of events in general and of partnering across the Church of England, Tom completely understood the aims of the conference and gave wise advice as to how best to structure sessions and make good use of technology to engage the audience. We were so pleased to have a “conference app”, championed by Tom, that enabled us to avoid the use of printed material but more importantly, to make changes to our event in real time and create greater connectivity across the conference attendees. Tom was on site throughout the conference and was proactive, professional and unflappable throughout. He was a real joy to work with, bringing a “can do” attitude and much grace in the midst of a few unforeseen moments and going above and beyond to deliver a highly successful conference in partnership with the Diocesan conference planning team.
